"Why Do You Worry...?"

Why Do You Worry?
by eugene 04082018

In almost 2 years living in Mountainview Village, we have gained new friends, tamed a number of neighbors' dogs, got a lot of malunggay and banana leaves from the neighbors' trees (with permission, of course), have eaten a lot of indian mangoes (there are 3 mango trees in our front yard), amazed by the sheep, made our family relationship sweeter, happier and more meaningful.

Everyday, we make time to walk around the village, or go to work, to the nearest mall, grocery, market, or church, 30 minutes at least. Walking makes us grounded, reflective and appreciative of life. It also makes us hopeful and inspired.
During our regular morning (sometimes evening) walks, Peter and I really appreciate and feel so blessed to see these kinds of nature's wonders. This has been the theme of the moments' sharing of thoughts: do not be anxious.

We are trying to sustain living a simple and purposeful life. Living simply has significant influence on how we view things, how we become more inspired to do better things, how we relate with ourselves and other people, how we become more grateful to God...

And we cannot ignore this scenario...

This reminded us of God's love... so why worry?

"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." Mat.6:28 NIV

Hoping this has been another source of inspiration.. from small and simple.... :-)
